About Us
The Marcia S. Pinder Foundation was established to honor the extraordinary life and mission of Coach Marcia S. Pinder, the most winningest female basketball coach in Florida history. More than her record-breaking victories, Coach Pinder was a mentor, educator, and trailblazer who dedicated her life to shaping young women into leaders on and off the court.
Rooted in her legacy, the foundation carries forward her passion for empowering female athletes and advancing youth education. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, we provide scholarships that open doors for young women to pursue their academic and athletic aspirations. In the spirit of Coach Pinder’s values, our mission is to recognize excellence, foster discipline, and nurture commitment—ensuring that her dedication to building champions in life continues for generations to come.
